Those naked rowers

It's naked sportsman calendar time, and a bunch of Warwick University rowers has stripped off to raise cash for their sport.

They appear to be mighty fine-looking chaps, all muscley, er, muscles and manly body hair. Very taut. Very pingy (that's a technical term).

Anyway, you can support this noble venture by buying the calendar or very high-res digital downloads (including, if you're very cheap, of just the one single image you can't live without. Think of it as an iTunes for hot totty images, where you don't have to buy the full album. But then remember it's for charidee, students helping themselves, etc, and feel good about giving them your money).

My sources tell me the printed calendar itself costs £7 + P&P (oh, alright, Goddamnit, £6.99. Is anyone taken in by that pricing point crap anymore?), or you can get a digital download job for £3.99, individual images for 99p. All from here: www.uwbc.org.uk

Can I just say I've reserved the chap 2nd from left in that shot, above. And his mate at extreme right. Oh, and the chap in the first photo of this post, on the extreme left, who is having none of that appalling manscaping business...

My thanks to the highly skilled photographer Angus Malcolm at www.barnsburystudio.com. I have no idea how he managed to concentrate enough to avoid camera shake.

All that talent and not a winkie to be seen! Perhaps there's a premium priced "under the counter" or top-shelf version?

Lovely!

But they are 'oarsmen' or less formally 'boaties', never 'rowers'; please.

ratty: how do you know I was referring to their oaring activities, rather than implying they were very argumentative and constantly rowing with each other? Making them, of course, rowers...

Yes, that's not gonna fly, is it? You're quite right. Me bad.

Here's an old picture you might find amusing and right in line with today's subject; just without the nudity. http://www.shorpy.com/node/9399
