Where should I begin?

I can't believe I'm now embarking on my fifth blog.

This is not in any way boasting -- more a reflection of the stupidly low limits blogger places on image files.

My last blog was full. No more images allowed.

It's completely absurd, because I just have to set up a new email account and then a new blogger account.

And it means inconvenience for you, too, as your bookmark will now be wrong.

And I can't tell you how tiresome it is to set up a new statistics analysis package.

But let's put all that crap behind us as, instead, we use the first post to celebrate some of the most delightful winkies to have featured on Reciprocating Motion over the last few weeks.

And we also use this as an opportunity to have a whole new style for the blog -- different fonts, colours and layout.

That obviously won't disguise the fact that it's the same old crappy content as before.

Lots of pictures of gorgeous men with tiny winkies:

And where else will you find gorgeous trains scattered among the gay porn?

Add in my world class Movie Reviews and, of course, my own rubbish photos (usually of the sorts of architecture which I but no-one else loves), and you have a very heady brew.

Welcome to Top Scoff: you're in for some kind of a ride.

I came to Reciprocating Motion. What were the previous blogs? Can I go back and peruse them still?

Thanks for sticking with it. Your blog is the first one this old Yank visits every day. Great trains, great architecture, great normal winkies. As we say: "You da man!"

Welcome to the brand-new blog. Congratulations on Baby Number Five.
Personally I'm a fan of both small winkies and very fast trains You want Freudian? hahaha.
(Barcelona to Paris by very slow and very fast trains last week) But I digress ....
My virtual identity and I wish your new blog a happy and lusty life.

This must be your fourth blog I've followed religiously and I'm getting more and more curious to know what you look like. Even the Stig has now revealed himself but you remain enduringly enigmatic! I imagine you're somewhere between gorgeous and troll (like most people) I don't really care I think. Couldn't you at least do a partial reveal eg wear large hat, glasses and false beard perhaps? Nice new blog. Love it all (except the new font, I have to say).

I've sent the address to a few friends.

Thanks for the nice comments.

The list of all former blogs is now on the home page of this one, with a handy click-through link. By some bizarre coincidence the order they were created is alphabetical.

You want to see more of me? There is actually a photo of me on one of the blogs somewhere, but I'm not telling where. You're gonna have to guess. Am I, in fact, Thierry Pepin? Or Keanu? Or some 3rd-rate porn star?

The font: I was getting a bit bored by the look of the old blogs so decided to try something new. I'm fond of Courier, which now has a delightful retro feel to it. But I agree, it's not ideal for large blocks of text. I knew that when choosing it, and figured it would force me to have fewer words and more pictures.

And I guess everyone will celebrate that.

I've been a follower for a long time. I enjoy small (uncut) winkies, trains, architecture and good movie reviews. I deduced the meanings of Blood and Custard, Normal for Norfolk and, of course, Reciprocating Motion, but where the hell does "top scoff" come from? C'mon, hook a Yank up. What is top scoff?

Merci, LeDuc ... appreciate your taste, talent, and resourcefulness. Best of luck with Version x.x

"Top scoff" is a slang term.

Scoff is a vulgar word for food (and can be a verb -- to scoff (meaning to eat hungrily, rather than to sneer at someone or something)). "Top scoff" is therefore excellent food. Food in this case clearly has both literal and metaphorical meanings.

All credit to Tom for suggesting it as the title for the new blog.

It's great to follow you to the new blog.
Keep it up! (so to speak...)

It's also nice to know why Spike isn't answering his phone. Maybe he would like lunch when he returns to the land of super slow trains and uncertain football games and politics!

Oh you are such a tease! There must be 10,000 photos on your 4 blogs and I'm supposed to guess which one is you! Although I suppose from what you've said at various times I think you must be at least in your late thirties so that narrows it down a bit, but then even I'm not that curious to go through every blog again and try and guess! And would you tell me if I guessed it right perhaps via the email address which was on previous blogs? Tiro
PS If I show you mine would you show me yours? I too have never revealed myself, even anonymously, online so it would be scary for me too. Tiro

Oh please, please do rethink your font decision, I implore you!

I rather liked the existing mix of content you had; I was both enlightened, and randified.

And even if you do decide to cut down on the text, please pretty please with a cherry on top (obviously not mine) chose a different one.
