THIS IS VERY ANNOYING

Sorry, but I am still unable to upload images to blogger.

I have no idea what's going on, and whether this is a problem with my set-up or with blogger.

But I'll keep trying at least once a day to upload something and, if there's no joy by the end of the week, I'll crack and shift to another blog host. If anyone's got any recommendations please let me know -- tumbler, wordpress, etc.

Thanks for bearing with me.

Tumblr seems to have a great following but also has a "reblogging" feature whereby your posts may show up on dozens of other blogs. It seems more friendly to this type of content (trains?)

Hello,
This is how your picture which doesn't display correctly, looks like when i open the source code of the page:

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_D0vZXGEY9Co/TKdtwgmlKoI/AAAAAAAAAAs/nXCegbySKTA/s1600/Exuberant.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_D0vZXGEY9Co/TKdtwgmlKoI/AAAAAAAAAAs/nXCegbySKTA/s320/Exuberant.jpg" width="193" /></a></div>

You will notice, that some brackets are missing denoted by '<' (this should be replaced by <) and '>' (this should be replaced by >). If i correct this in the source code and save it locally, the page including the picture is displayed correctly.
Maybe you check your editor, search in the blogger help for '<' or some other blogger may help here. Just my two cents; don't know how to use blogger.

Hopefully someone is able to help, so we can enjoy your posts w/ pictures again.

Thanks, Anonymous 2, for going to so much trouble, but now I feel like I've led you on...

You see, what happens is this: when I click on the "upload picture" button in blogger, the outline of the screen from which you upload pictures appears, but then it gets stuck in some sort of death loop where the status bar keeps telling me it's checking different blogger databases. But we never get to the bit where you upload pictures (I know -- I left it fannying around for over an hour and, when I came back, it was still cycling through blogger databases).

So, in order to illustrate the post, I simply cut and pasted code from another post -- which normally, in blogger, repeats the image. But this time it just stuck there as code.

Anyway, thanks for the investigative work: it's actually rather comforting to know that some people are determined to get Top Scoff back up and running!
