Muni fun

This is very cute: a 12 minute time-lapse video showing 3.5 days of work replacing a set of points on the San Francisco Municipal Railway system.



No, honestly: it really is rather cute.

And to think that the last remaining Brunel broad gauge was all converted to 4' 8½" over the course of one weekend in 1892

Set of points? It's a whole T junction with live(?) tram and trolleybus wires above it! Fascinating to watch. Looks like the junction of the J Church streetcar line and the 24 trolleybus route
