Dignity at all times

I've always thought that acting was the profession which most often required its exponents to shed their dignity, but I increasingly think sport is up there with it, especially when the participants are required to wear costumes such as this:


It's not just the costumes, either -- scenes like this appear to be accepted as everyday:


In some cases, it's the sport itself which prevents its participants from retaining any shred of dignity. Take this Greco-Roman wrestling example:
